The atmosphere inside our building is always buzzing and you can always find someone planning a get-together to explore the city with. If you are a solo traveler then great, we can match you up with some of our other solo guests and you will get on like a house on fire.
Our Location
With convenient access to the Tram lines like Park Street and Riverside less than 6 minutes away, it makes all of Boston’s funky bars, clubs and restaurants right in your door step. Be anywhere in Boston in no time: New England Aquarium in 16 minutes, Boston Tea Party Museum in 14 minutes, Airport in 30 minutes.
With the Temple Place bus stop right outside the door, Boston will be at the tip of your fingers as you are located right in the city centre.
Smith Hall

We are located right in the heart of the city in Downtown Boston. Situated in the middle of an urban environment, Smith Hall is the ideal dorm for city-faring students.
When you live here, you’re facing the Boston Common, and within walking distance of many dining establishments, coffee shops, and entertainment venues. It is an Unbeatable Downtown Location.
The rooms in Smith Hall vary, as suites include double room, and a shared lounge and bathroom, which are used and maintained by the suite members. There are no kitchens in any of the suites. Suites house four, five, six, or eight students.
A suite is a grouping of double rooms around a furnished common living space. The suite members share a bathroom that is housed within the suite. Residents of a suite are responsible for maintaining the bathroom, including providing supplies and cleaning the bathroom.
Most rooms in Smith Hall are on the corridor. This is the “traditional” style of a residence hall. Some of the corridor rooms overlook the Boston Common.
Students who live in corridor rooms share two floor bathrooms—one for men, one for women.
Residents are not responsible for maintaining/cleaning the corridor bathroom.

The annual J1Accom Boat Party is easily one of the biggest highlights of the summer — and for good reason. This unforgettable 3-hour cruise around Boston Harbor combines incredible city views, great music, and nonstop craic.
With a live DJ, a fully stocked bar, and exclusive drink deals, the energy on board is always electric. It’s the event J1ers talk about long after the summer ends and one that residents look forward to more than anything else.

J1Accom Run Club
All the nights out are great, but balance is key — and that’s where the J1Accom Run Club comes in. Whether you’re looking to meet people in a social setting without the drinking or you just want to shake off the night before, everyone is welcome.
We organise a weekly run that’s completely pressure-free, followed by a well-earned coffee and catch-up. It’s a great way to stay active, clear the head, and enjoy some relaxed craic with fellow residents.
